About Us

Hansol Funeral Services is an independent family based company in Sydney.  We have been providing funeral services since 2015.

We understand that a loved one’s death and funeral process can be one of the most difficult times for your family, especially migrant families who may require extra support.

Chapel & Function Room

Chapel - seat up to 70 people and has the ability to accomodate 100+ .

Function Room - seat up to 80 people.

Burial or Cremation

Most people are familiar with the burial process, where the body is cleaned, dressed and sealed in a coffin or casket then interred at an arranged funeral service, usually below ground in a cemetery.

The cremation process is basically the same as a burial, except after the funeral service the body is delivered to a crematorium in a coffin. Crematorium staff then remove any metal parts from the coffin or container and place it into the cremator.

Modern cremators use natural gas or ....

Modern cremators use natural gas or propane and burn at temperatures between 870–980°C. The full cremation process can take anywhere between 2-3 hours. After the cremation, any remaining metallic objects are removed from the cremated remains which are then transferred to a processor to reduce the bone fragments to a fine, granular consistency. The ashes are then placed in a sealed container and dealt with according to the funeral director’s instructions.

Choosing between a burial and cremation is a very personal decision and it can be a difficult subject to think about now. However it is necessary step, you should make time to discuss your preference with your family so that they’re able to confidently carry out your wishes without the stress of having to guess what you would have wanted.

If you have decided that you want to be buried or cremated after your death, you can place your request in writing and provide copies to your family. Preplanning your funeral or your family members are also helpful for your loved ones as it is cost-effective and gives peace of mind.
